Japanese Launch Luxury Mobile Phone Set With 537 Tiffany Diamonds Sold 13 Thousand U.S. Dollars


Right now the global financial crisis did not seem to affect Japan's Softbank Mobile's confidence in the market for luxury goods. The company launched a mobile phone set with hundreds of diamonds in preparation for limited sale on October 30, 2008. Softbank Mobile said the phone called "Softbank 823SH Tiffany", each set of Tiffany jewelry wholesale with 537 diamonds. Total weight is 18.34 karats of diamondsand the United States provided well-known jewelry retailer Tiffany & Co. is also responsible for cell phone clamshell design.


The phone price is 1.3 million yen for each (about 13,000 U.S. dollars), plans to sell just 10.
Almost everyone has a cell phone in Japan. In view of Japan is the world's largest luxury goods market, where the top luxury brands trying to enter the Japanese mobile phone market.
Softbank Mobile's rivals NTT - DoCoMo Inc. unveiled earlier this year by the Italian luxury brand Prada designs mobile phone.
